Potatoes are good for your spleen!

Did anyone catch the Dr. Oz show about your spleen? If you did, you learned yet another interesting potato nutrition tidbit: another part of our bodies that potatoes are good for is the spleen!

Why? According to Dr. Oz, eating foods rich in vitamin B6, like potatoes with skin, helps to boost our immune systems, which in turn helps to keep our spleens clean. The spleen is a crucial part of our immune systems, as it keeps our red blood cells clean.
