Description

This deconstructed version of a classic dish is sure to win over students. The combination of mashed potatoes, ham, Swiss cheese, and alfredo sauce will tantalize your taste buds and leave you wanting more. The mashed potatoes provide a creamy and comforting base, while the turkey ham adds a subtle smoky flavor. The Swiss cheese hints nuttiness, and the alfredo sauce adds a luscious creaminess that brings all the ingredients together.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups (300 g) Dehydrated potato flakes
  • 12 cups (2832 ml) Hot water
  • 12 oz (340 g) Turkey ham
  • 12 oz (336 g) Swiss cheese, shredded
  • 24 oz (672 g) Chicken tenders
  • 12 oz (354 ml) Alfredo sauce

Preparation

  1. Gather all ingredients and equipment needed.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°c).
  3. In a large pot, add water and bring to a simmer. Add dehydrated flakes to a large full hotel. Add hot water to potato flakes and cover for 10 minutes. Then mix well until the flakes are all dissolved and fully incorporated.
  4. In a large pot, heat alfredo sauce and keep warm.
  5. On a parchment paper lined sheet tray, place chicken tenders and bake for 15 minutes or until light golden brown in color and crispy.
  6. Remove chicken tenders from the oven, place shredded/ sliced Swiss cheese on top of tenders and place back in the oven for 1-2 minutes or until cheese has melted.
  7. To assemble, scoop mashed potatoes onto a bowl, place chicken tenders over, and top off with alfredo sauce.
