Jalapeño and cheddar Hasselback potatoes.


  • 2 Russet Potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 8oz Block of Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 Jalapeño
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper


  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
  2. Wash and dry 2 russet potatoes
  3. Lay 2 wooden skewers on the outside of the potatoes and then make ¼” slices downward on the potato. (The skewers will prevent from slicing completely through the potato)
  4. Now season the potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper
  5. Bake at 400 for 45 minutes
  6. Now prep the jalapeño and cheddar slices but cutting them into ⅛” slices
  7. Once the potatoes have baked for 45 minutes and remove them from the oven.
