I am the race director and co-creator of the Ram Run 5K. I have built numerous community connections and have formed many
business partnerships. I work closely with the AD to put this event on, and a strong AD is crucial to the Ram Run’s future
success and development. Currently, my involvement with the Ram Run 5K has raised over $80,000 for Green Mountain High
School.

2018 marks the 24th season that I have served as a cross-country coach. I have also coached boys and girls track and field for
the same amount of time, working primarily with distance runners (Head Girls Coach for 10 years and Head Boys for one year,
Assistant 10). As a long-time, multi-season GM coach, I can give a voice to student athletes who rely on authority figures to help
them navigate their way to great achievements. I am respected by my peers, and am often sought out as a mentor. I can give a
voice to coaches of both boys and girls sports.

I am a well-known and respected coach in the county (I was as named the Jefferson County Girls Athletics 5A Coach of the
Year for the 2009-10 school year, Jefferson County’s Girls Cross-Country Coach of the Year in 2008 and 2009, Jeffco’s Boys
Track and Field Coach of the Year in 2006, as well as the Girls Track and Field Coach of the Year in 1999 and 2000.
My teams have earned Jefferson County’s Team Sportsmanship Award a remarkable seven times including 2002, 2005, 2007,
11, 12, 13, 15,16, 17, 18. I have qualified a combined 24 teams to the State Championships including ten boys squads and
fourteen girls squads. The Green Mountain Girls Cross-Country team earned the 5A League championship in 2008 and 2009
(five Regional Championships). The girls squad were the 4A League runners-up in 2010. The boys squad were the 4A League
runners-up in 2015. This speaks to my success as a coach and the integrity of my programs.

I have been named the John Lynch Foundation Coach of the Month in 2012, and the 2015 CHSCA Dale-Yost Teacher-Coach of
The Year for the state of Colorado. My coaching influence reaches beyond GM and Jefferson County. I have state-wide
recognition.
