Description

These easy to make homemade potato chips will quickly become your family's new favorite snack!

Ingredients

  • 5 medium russet potatoes, thinly sliced with a mandoline
  • 2 cups balsamic vinegar, simmered until it's reduced and thickened
  • 1 cup gorgonzola cheese crumbles
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • Vegetable oil for deep frying

Preparation

  1. Heat oil for deep frying to 350°F in a large frying pan or deep fryer. Slice potatoes and reduce balsamic vinegar until thickened.
  2. Fry potatoes in batches (about 1 potato at a time) until deep golden brown and crisp. Drain on paper towels and add salt. Continue frying all potato chips.
  3. Place potato chips in a large serving plate and top with Gorgonzola cheese and balsamic reduction. Garnish with fresh parsley.
