Description

A hearty boiled red potato covered in a garlic herb butter.

Ingredients

  • 8 each (1120 g) Medium Sized Red Potato
  • 2 qt (1892 ml) Water
  • ½ cup (120 ml) Melted Unsalted Butter
  • 1 ½ tsp (1.5 g) Thyme (fine chop)
  • 1 ½ tsp (1.6 g) Rosemary (fine chop)
  • 1 ½ tsp (2 g) Parsley (fine chop)
  • 2 tbsp (17 g) Garlic (fine chop)
  • ½ tbsp (8 g) Salt
  • ½ tbsp (3 g) Ground Black Pepper

Preparation

  1. Gather all ingredients and equipment needed.
  2. In a large pot, add cold water and potatoes, bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 40 minutes or until fork tender.
  3. In a small sauce pot, add butter and melt, then turn off heat and add garlic and herbs. Let garlic and herbs steep into the butter.
  4. Drain potatoes with strainer and place in a bowl, then pour over melted garlic herb butter over potatoes and toss until fully coated. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer garlic herbed butter potatoes on serving bowl and serve immediately.
