Description

A hearty boiled red potato covered in a garlic herb butter.

Ingredients

  • 8 each (1120 g) Medium Sized Red Potato
  • 2 qt (1892 ml) Water
  • ½ cup (120 ml) Melted Unsalted Butter
  • 1 ½ tsp (1.5 g) Thyme (fine chop)
  • 1 ½ tsp (1.6 g) Rosemary (fine chop)
  • 1 ½ tsp (2 g) Parsley (fine chop)
  • 2 tbsp (17 g) Garlic (fine chop)
  • ½ tbsp (8 g) Salt
  • ½ tbsp (3 g) Ground Black Pepper

Preparation

  1. Gather all ingredients and equipment needed.
  2. In a large pot, add cold water and potatoes, bring to a boil then reduce heat to a simmer and cook for 40 minutes or until fork tender.
  3. In a small sauce pot, add butter and melt, then turn off heat and add garlic and herbs. Let garlic and herbs steep into the butter.
  4. Drain potatoes into a strainer and shake off excess water. Place potatoes in a bowl, then pour melted garlic herb butter over potatoes and toss until fully coated. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer garlic herbed butter potatoes to a serving bowl and serve immediately.
