Description

Topped with freshly diced pineapple and chives, this dish will satisfy any craving. The sweet and sour sauce perfectly balances tangy and sweet, and the chicken tenders are perfectly cooked. A perfect meal for any day of the week, these Polynesian-inspired loaded fries are sure to become a favorite.

Ingredients

  • 12 cups (684 g) French Fries
  • 24 oz (680 g) Pineapple Chunks
  • 12 oz (354 ml) Sweet Chili Sauce
  • 48 oz (1344 g) Chicken Tenders, Frozen, Cooked
  • 6 oz (170 g) Green Onions or Chives, chopped, garnish (optional)

Preparation

  1. Gather all ingredients and equipment needed.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C).
  3. Place chicken tenders on a parchment paper lined sheet tray and place in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until crispy and light, golden- brown in color or follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
  4. In a large pot, add sweet chili sauce and add pineapple chunks. Heat until simmering and the pineapple is tender. Remove from heat and set aside to cool.
  5. Place frozen fries onto a parchment paper lined sheet tray and bake for 20 minutes or until light, golden-brown in color and crispy.
  6. To assemble, add fries to the bowl, top off with chicken tenders, and drizzle sweet and sour chili sauce over. Garnish with green onions or chives.
