Preparation

  1. Cook fries according to package instructions.
    • Note: Lightly misting them with cooking spray can help the fries get extra crispy. To customize the flavor, you can add garlic powder, salt, and pepper when the fries first come out of the oven.
  2. Meanwhile, season meat with salt, pepper and cumin.
  3. Heat a large wok over high heat. When hot add the oil and the steak, cook about 2 minutes, until browned on both sides.
  4. Add the onions, bell pepper, and garlic and cook 2 minutes.
  5. Add the tomato, soy sauce and vinegar and cook 1 more minute.
  6. Season with more salt as needed, remove from heat and finish with cilantro.
  7. Serve immediately with fries and divide evenly between 2 plates.

In Peru this would be served over rice. Potatoes and rice in the same dish? Yup!
